Capital University

Tim McWilson joined Capital University’s football staff in the summer of 2016 as the team’s tailback coach. He enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Purple and White.

McWilson’s coaching experience includes head freshman and junior varsity coach at the high school level. He coached at Eastmoor Academy High School for 10 seasons (2004-14) where his duties included assistant offensive coordinator, assistant special teams coach, and assistance with recruitment.

McWilson also has experience on the defensive side of the ball after coaching defensive backs at Gahanna Lincoln High School for two seasons (2002-04).

He attended Youngstown State University from 1984 to 1989 where he played football under head coaches Bill Narduzzi and Jim Tressel.
