Joe Green joins the Capital football coaching staff for his first season in 2024. Green will work with the defensive backs for the Comets. 

Green joins the Comets’ staff with a strong resume at a young age as the Grambling State University graduate spent time on the Tigers’ football coaching staff as an undergraduate. First, he was a lead assistant in the Football Operations department before spending time as a Quality Control/Pass Game Analysis and a Student-Assistant Defensive Backs Coach. After his time at GSU, Green spent one season as a recruiter for Georgia Tech.
