Adam Parsons

Adam Parsons is joining Coach Brian Foos' staff as the outside linebackers coach after several seasons in the high school coaching ranks.

Most recently, Parsons oversaw the running backs and defensive line at Parkersburg South High School where he helped lead the team to the West Virginia AAA State Championship game and the school’s first conference title since 1975.

Prior to that stop, Parsons was the offensive line coach at Parkersburg High School and helped guide an o-line that committed just one penalty all season and blocked for the school’s all-time record holder in total yards.

Before coaching at Parkersburg, Parsons was the Lineman coach and Head JV coach for Christian County High School, then the Lineman coach and JV Defensive Coordinator for Weir High School and an O-Line and Run Game Coordinator for John Marshall High School. Those three programs advanced to the state playoffs under his assistance.

Parsons played college football for West Liberty University as the smallest offensive lineman in Division II football that season. An injury in 2016 forced Parsons from the game as a player, but that enabled him to kickstart his coaching career. He holds a degree in history from West Liberty University.
