2015: Named Second Team All-OAC … letter winner … became Capital’s all-time leading rusher on the road against Heidelberg (11/7) on his first carry of the day … he tied Rayshawn Gales ’07 for the all-time lead on Homecoming against Otterbein (10/10) before being forced to leave the game due to injury … missed three straight games (turf toe) … returned from injury to post two 100+ yard games to close out the season … began the season rushing for three touchdowns in each of the season’s opening three games …rushed for a season-high 207 yards on 28 carries in the team’s historic night-game win over Muskingum (10/26) … averaged greater than 6 yards per carry in each of his first three games … against the No. 1 rush defense in the nation, he posted 83 yards on 15 carries against nationally-ranked Mount Union … finished the year with 875 yards on 133 carries and 11 touchdowns … also made two receptions for 20 yards … was named OAC Offensive Player of the Week twice (9/21, 9/28).
2014: Named Second Team All-OAC … letter winner … appeared in all 10 games in 2014 at B-back, starting in nine … rushed 186 times for 1,125 yards, the second most all-time in school history for a single season … averaged 6.0 yards per rush, with a total of 112.5 rush yards per game … rushed for a team-high 10 touchdowns … caught 10 passes for 198 yards and one touchdown … rushed 20 times for 171 yards and two touchdowns on Sept. 13 against Earlham … obtained a career-high 233 rushing yards against Wilmington on Sept. 20th (seven shy of the school single-game record), along with two touchdowns … caught three passes for 126 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown on Sept. 27 against Muskingum … finished with 144 yards and scored on a 44-yard run vs. Ohio Northern on Oct. 18 … posted 133 rushing yards on Nov. 11 vs. Baldwin Wallace … scored two rushing touchdowns to accompany his 179 rushing yards against Marietta on Nov. 15.
2013: Named Honorable Mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference … letter winner … appeared in all 10 games at B-back, making five starts … finished second on the team in rushing with 105 carries for 540 yards (5.1 ypc) and a team-high five rushing touchdowns … posted six receptions for 80 yards … tied for the team lead in scoring with 30 points … rushed for 100 yards or more in the Crusaders’ wins at Marietta (Sept. 21), against Muskingum (Nov. 9) and against Wilmington (Nov. 16) … tallied eight carries for a season-best 131 yards, including a season-long run of 42 yards, in his first career start at Marietta, a 42-13 Capital victory on Sept. 21 … found the end zone in each of the team’s last four games, starting with a two-yard plunge at Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 26 … caught a season-long 25-yard pass in Capital’s 41-27 victory over Wilmington on Nov. 16 … registered a tackle at Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 26.
Personal: Majoring in exercise science … also a member of the Capital men’s lacrosse team … parents are Missy and Brian Walton … attended Pickerington Central High School, where he played football and lacrosse, and participated in track and field … first team all-conference and all-district in football playing for coach Jay Sharrett … three-time first team all-conference, two-time all-region and the school’s all-time points and assists leader in lacrosse … career ambition is to be a coach or personal trainer … hobbies include working out and playing Xbox.
