2019: Appeared in 33 games, 32 starts … went 35-127 for a career-high .276 average … hit a career-best seven doubles with one triple and 16 RBIs … stole three bases … second on the team with 24 runs scored … had a .963 fielding percentage as a first-year starter at shortstop … helped turn 20 double plays … recorded nine multi-hit games … recorded six two-RBI games … posted an eight-game hitting streak from Feb. 25 – March 19 … pitched in 10 games as the team’s closer … led the team with four saves … struck out 11 and allowed four earned runs in 13.0 innings for a 7.62 ERA … went 3-7 with two doubles, three walks, two runs scored and four RBIs in the doubleheader at Ohio Northern on April 1 … went 4-6 with two RBIs against Muskingum on April 9 … went 3-5 in both games at Wilmington on April 16 to go 6-10 with three runs, two doubles and two RBIs on the day … pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Feb. 28 against Saint Mary’s (Minn.) for his first career save … saved both games against Wittenberg on March 19, pitching a combined 3.0 scoreless innings with four total strikeouts and allowing only one hit.

Personal: Majoring in athletic training (pre-med) … parents are Heather and Andy Ellis … attended Chippewa High School where he played baseball for Ben Hymes and wad was a first-team all-conference player and was named the conference pitcher of the year … career ambition is to become a doctor.
