Jacob Bolton will enter his first full season assisting the Capital Baseball program in 2022. Toward the tail end of the 2021 season, Bolton assisted then interim head coach Scott Manahan, but will transition to a volunteer coach for the duration of the 2022 season. He will primarily oversee the team's infielders and help coach third base. 

Bolton spent his collegiate playing days at Morehead State University and Eastern Michigan University prior to entering the coaching field.
