Brady Adamek is entering his first season as an assistant coach with Capital baseball in 2024. He will primarily work with the Comets' pitching staff, specifically the relievers.Â
Adamek comes to Capital with an attractive resume of both playing and coaching experience. As a coach, Adamek was on staff at Division II William Jewell College where he aided the team to a 32-22 record and a team ERA of 4.54. '
As a player, Adamek was a right-handed relief pitcher who played his college ball at Division I Oakland University before going off to play four years with the Major League Baseball system. He spent two years with the Baltimore Orioles and two years with the St. Louis Cardinals. As a player, his professional coach and mentor was Brent Strom who currently serves as the pitching coach with the Arizona Diamondbacks.Â
A native of Buena Vista, Colorado, Adamek currently lives in Columbus with his wife Brittney and their three mastiffs, Tantor, Kala, and Drax.Â
