Jerry Katherman (1923-28)
Capital's first coach brought the Crusaders into the Ohio Athletic Conference in 1927.

Jim Collins (1997-2007)
Collins led Capital to a school-record 11 wins and a second straight appearance in the NCAA Playoffs quarterfinals in 2006. A three-time OAC Coach of the Year (2001, 2003, 2006), he also won the 2006 Lee Tressel Ohio College Coach of the Year Award.
