Damon Goodwin (1994-present)
Goodwin has led Capital to the NCAA Tournament five times and earned OAC Coach of the Year honors in 1996, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013. The Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year guided the Crusaders to a school-record 26 wins and its second-ever berth in the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2009. He also mentored Capital to a then school-record 23 wins in 2002 and to OAC Tournament titles in 2007 and 2012. The Crusaders were OAC regular season champs in 2003 and in 2008, setting a new record in wins with 24 and reaching the second round of the NCAA tournament. After sharing the regular season league championship in 2012, Capital won the conference outright in 2013. The school's all-time wins leader, Goodwin eclipsed the 300-win plateau on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, with an 86-75 victory over rival Otterbein.
