Senior golfer Sydney Kelly went low at the Baldwin Wallace Fall Invitational, lower than any Capital women's golfer has gone before. Kelly shot a program-record 78 on Saturday in the tournament's first round, one shot better than the previous school record she shared with Aly McGinnis. Kelly shot a second-round 88 on Sunday but still tied for second overall on the tournament leadberboard. Kelly's 166 helped Capital place second out of the four OAC schools at the tournament. Kelly's record-tying 79 from 2017 earned her the first Crusader of the Week of 2017, proving that Kelly loves the opening weekend of the season.
