In her first competiton in the Purple and White, juinor Sydney Kelly re-wrote Capital history books, fueled by an unbelievable turnaround on Sunday at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. Kelly shot a 96 on Saturday, the second-highest score in the field, but posted a 17-shot improvement on Sunday. Kelly's 79 was the lowest score of the tournament and tied for the lowest single-round score in Capital program history. Kelly's reversal catapulted her into the individual top three and helped fuel Cap's second-place team finish.
