2016: Letter winner … played in and started all 10 games … grabbed five receptions for 27 yards and one touchdown … recorded a receiving touchdown against Muskingum on Sept. 17 … caught two passes against Ohio Northern on Oct. 8 … completed one pass against Otterbein for five yards on Oct. 1.

2015: Missed entire season due to injury.

2014: Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Offensive Player of the Week honors (week 1) … letter winner … appeared in two games, each he started at quarterback … suffered season-ending knee injury against Wilmington … completed 9-of-20 passes on the year, recording 225 yards and three touchdowns … rushed 25 times, accumulating 145 yards … averaged 5.8 yards per rush and ran in two touchdowns … threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 20 times for 164 yards and three TDs on Sept. 13 against Earlham. 

2013: Letter winner … played in nine games, including eight as the starting quarterback … led the team in passing, going 37-of-75 for 500 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions … finished third on the team in rushing with 150 carries for 449 yards and three touchdowns … finished 7-of-12 passing for a season-best 150 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for a season-high 95 yards on 21 carries with a score in Capital’s 42-13 victory at Marietta on Sept. 21 … completed 9-of-15 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns while running for 86 yards and a touchdown on a season-high 31 carries against Ohio Northern on Sept. 28 … threw for 96 yards and rushed for another 43 yards at Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 26 … ran 21 times for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Crusaders’ 27-24 overtime win over Muskingum on Nov. 9 … rushed for 54 yards against No. 1 Mount Union on Oct. 19.

Personal: Majoring in nursing … parents are Rick and Caryn Longwell … attended Hilliard Darby High School, where he participated in football and baseball … earned first team all-district and second all-region honors … played for coach John Santagata at Hilliard Darby … career ambition is to become a nurse … hobbies include sports, ultimate Frisbee and playing video games.
