2013: Letter winner … played in nine games and started the team’s final seven … made his first career start at then-No. 24 John Carroll on Oct. 5 … blocked for the nation’s No. 20 rushing offense … posted a tackle against Ohio Northern on Sept. 28

Personal: Majoring in computer science … parents are Diane and Dave Switzer … attended Hillsdale High School, where he participated in football, track and field, baseball and basketball … named All-Ohio honorable mention and was No. 1 in his class academically at Hillsdale … played for coach Tom Williams … hopes to be a computer programmer … hobbies include video games, skiing and lifting weights.
