2013: Letter winner … played in all 10 of the team’s games as a starter at cornerback … led the team with five pass break-ups … posted two interceptions and seven passes defended, good for second on the team in both categories … placed sixth on the team with 38 tackles (23 solo) for the season … registered a season-high seven tackles along with an interception in the Crusaders’ 41-27 victory over Wilmington in the team’s season finale on Nov. 16 … posted a key interception in Capital’s 27-24 overtime win against Muskingum on Nov. 9 … registered at least five tackles in four different contests, including six at then-No. 24 John Carroll on Oct. 5

 

2012: Letter winner … appeared in five games defensively … posted a pair of tackles, one pass defensed and one pass broken up
2011: Letter winner … Started in 10 games … Recorded 28 total tackles (18 solo) … Defended six passes … Broke up six passes.

2010: Played on the junior varsity squad. 

High School: Participated in the 2010 East-West Time Warner Coaches’ All Star Game… Earned 2009 All-Ohio Northern League Second Team honors… Also played basketball and received 2009 All-District 7 Honorable Mention recognition … Cousin Marcus Hyde, was a four-year letter winner at safety for Michigan State… Another cousin, Micah Hyde, is a cornerback for the University of Iowa. 

Personal: Majoring in Psychology … Parents are Darnell and Kim Cousin … Played football for coach Tom Grine at Fostoria High School, where he also participated in basketball and track & field ... Favorite class at Capital is Psychology 101.
