2013: Second team All-Ohio Athletic Conference … Academic All-OAC … second team OCSA Division III Academic All-Ohio ... appeared in all 26 matches and made 25 starts at defender … tied for seventh on the team with seven points (three goals, one assist) … tallied the game-winning goal in each of the Crusaders’ first two matches in the NCAA Division III Tournament, beating Chicago with a goal in the second overtime of Capital’s 1-0 win in the first round on Nov. 17 in Whitewater, Wis., then finding the back of the net in the 42nd minute of the Crusaders’ 1-0 triumph over No. 16 Wisconsin-Whitewater on Nov. 17 in Milwaukee, Wis. … assisted on the game-tying goal in Capital’s 2-1 victory over Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 26 … scored the first goal in the Crusaders’ 3-1 triumph over Berry (Ga.) on Sept. 6 … was a crucial piece of the Capital defense, which recorded 13 shutouts during the season … attempted 14 shots, including nine on goal, for the year

Personal: Parents are Dianne and Clark Richards … majoring in biochemistry/pre-dental with a minor in Spanish … played for coach Frank Gagliardi at Massillon Jackson High School, where she was named second team all-state and first team all-district … also participated in track & field and softball in high school … hopes to be a dentist … hobbies include running, reading and eating
