COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Capital University football team got back to tradition by hosting the Bexley Youth Football organization for practice during their bye week. This has become an annual function as the Comets' football program continues to emphasize the relationship with the Bexley community and the youth football program. 

"It is fun to watch our guys give back and interact with the community," stated head coach Brian Foos. "We are grateful to have this joint practice on our bye week. It is always a lot of laughs and a great way to give back while promoting the game. I appreciate the coaches and players of the youth league for coming over to join us for this annual event!" 

As part of this partnership, the Comets will host Youth Football Day at their next home game on Saturday, October 17th against Mount Union. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. and all youth football players in uniform will gain free admission to the game. 

Prior to hosting Mount Union on the 17th, Capital will next be in action on the road on October 10th at Muskingum, which is also a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.
