Columbus, Ohio -Â Coming off a crosstown win against Ohio Wesleyan earlier this week, the Capital men's soccer team wrapped up play for the weekend inside Bernlohr Stadium, facing off against the Wooster Fighting Scots for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
The Comets fell to the Fighting Scots in a tight 1-0 contest after 90 minutes. Wooster improves to 6-3-0, while Capital now sits at 4-2-1.
The first half saw scoreless action as both teams traded offensive momentum, with the shot totals remaining close. Capital recorded eight shots, while Wooster had seven.
The lone goal of the game came in the second half, when Wooster's Robert Hillhouse found the back of the net at the end of the 56th minute.
Wooster finished the game with 17 total shots, eight of which were on goal, while Capital recorded 11 shots, with three on goal. Junior goalkeeper
