WOOSTER, Ohio – The Capital University women's lacrosse team traveled to the College of Wooster today, where they were upended by a final score of 20-3.
With the loss, the team drops to 1-3 on the season, while Wooster improves to 2-0 with the win.
The Scots got out to a 14-0 lead by halftime, before
Ava Vendetti scored the first goal of the game for the Comets early in the third quarter.
Sydney Norch would add another Comet goal in the period, but Wooster would score three of their own to lead 17-2 after three.
In the fourth quarter, Vendetti got another goal before Wooster finished it off, 20-3.

Ava Vendetti scored twice to go with two draw controls and one ground ball.
Sydney Norch scored once to pair with one draw control and one ground ball.
Heather Stoner recorded one assist, one ground ball and one draw.
Brooke Burchfield had a caused turnover, one ground ball and 11 saves in the Comet goal.
