The Comets wasted no time finding the back of the net against the Quakers, scoring four goals in just under 35 minutes of the first half. In the 14th minute, OAC Offensive Player of the Week Payton Childers scored her eighth goal of the season to give the Comets a 1-0 lead. Childers then struck twice more in quick succession.
