UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team fell to 0-2 overall on the young season after losing 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at John Carroll University. The Blue Streaks evened their record to 1-1 with the result.
The match-up between the two sides marked the first non-conference affair between the two schools in any sport since JCU's departure from the OAC in July 2025.
The Comets conceded goals in the 36th minute, 50th minute, and 65th minute to fall 3-0 by the final whistle. In the end, the CU offense struggled to get going as the team took just two shots in the game – one each from
Jack Thomas and
Jackson Terry.
Ethan Ogden made five saves in goal for Capital.
