LEXINGTON, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis team suffered a shutout at the hands of John Carroll on Saturday afternoon, 0-7.
DOUBLES
The day got off to a rough start as the Comets dropped the doubles point after being defeated in all three matches.
Anna Fletcher and
Nicole Flock put up the toughest fight, losing 3-6. Next was
Annika Hansen and
Kylee Fliter falling 2-6, followed by
Ashlyn Edwards and
Jenny Rollins at 0-6.
SINGLES
CU continued to struggle in singles, losing all six matches, leading to a 0-7 loss. Hansen suffered a 2-6, 1-6 loss. Edwards dropped her match 2-6, 0-6. Fletcher and Flock both lost 0-6, 1-6. And Fliter and Rollins both fell 0-6, 0-6.
