GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis team traveled to face Denison on Sunday, unfortunately ending on the wrong side of a 7-0 sweep.
DOUBLES
The Comets struggled early on, conceding the doubles point after losing all three matches.
Anna Fletcher and
Nicole Flock fell 2-6.
Jenny Rollins and
Ashlyn Edwards ended on the wrong side of a 1-6 result.
Annika Hansen and
Kylee Fliter suffered a 0-6 shutout.
SINGLES
CU continued to struggle in singles, dropping all six matches to bring the final score to 0-7. Fletcher, Hansen, and Edwards all ended up on the wrong side of 0-6, 1-6 results. Flock and Fliter both fell 1-6, 0-6. Jenna Rollins lost 0-6, 4-6.
