OBERLIN, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis started their spring schedule on the road at Oberlin on Saturday, falling to the Yeowomen with a final result of 1-6.
DOUBLES
The day started with CU taking just one of the three doubles matches and surrendering the first point to Oberlin.
Anna Fletcher and
Nicole Flock were responsible for that lone win with a 6-1 final score.
Annika Hansen and
Jenny Rollins would fall 5-7 with
Kylee Fliter and
Ashlyn Edwards being shutout 0-6.
SINGLES
The Purple and White would grab their only point of the day with a Hansen win in the tiebreaker of the threes matchup, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7. Fletcher fell in the matchup of the ones 3-6, 0-6 with Flock falling in the twos match 2-6, 4-6. Rollins lost the fives match 0-6, 1-6 with Fliter and Edwards both being shutout 0-6, 0-6 in their respective fours and sixes matches.

The Comets will be back in action at Wooster on Sunday, February 23rd. Start time for that match is still to be determined.
