WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced on Friday the Fall 2025 Academic All-OAC recipients. Featured on this year's list were 40 Capital University student-athletes. The 40 recipients marks the most in one season for the department since the fall of 2022. 

To be eligible for Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.495 or higher, be of varsity status, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and may not receive the award more than three times in one sport among other criteria.

Of the 40 fall student-athletes selected, women's soccer leads the way with the most honorees (15), while football (10), men's soccer (5), volleyball (5), men's cross country (3) and women's cross country (2) round out the selections. 

Receiving the award in women's soccer are seniors Liv Alford*, Abbie Bergert**, Lizzie Elliott**, Charlotte Greenberg**, and Mya Swearengin**, juniors Alexi Bloch, Caitie Byars, Lauren Hinshaw, and Maggie McGlone*, and sophomores Taylor Duff, Kendra Kovacs, Bella Leonetti, Mayci Sayre, Ava Spirk, and Hannah West. 

Representing the football program are seniors Jayden Carter, Cyrus Burden* and Nate Younker*, juniors Finn Devine*, Trent Renz*, Jake Fitzpatrick* and Bryson Roberts*, sophomores Wesley Armstead and Evan Clephane, and redshirt sophomore Preston Hannika. 

The honorees from men's soccer are junior Jack Thomas and sophomores Landon Hughes, Jacob Reppeto, Noah Thomas, and Nico Voight. All five are first-time honorees. 

Earning the award for volleyball are seniors Samaree Perkins** and Ryann Bunyak**, junior Chloe Preocanin, and sophomores Abby Reed and Morgan Metzger. 

Representing the men's cross country team are juniors Aiden Mahony* and Gunnar Yates*, and sophomore Jordan Hull. And earning the nod for women's cross country are juniors Olivia Ellis* and Catherine Schaub*.
