Men’s Basketball Falls in Second Half at Muskingum

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Capital University men's basketball team ventured east to Muskingum University on Wednesday night where they ultimately fell 90-79 at the final horn. The loss drops Capital back to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in the conference. Muskingum is 6-6 (4-1 OAC).

The story of the game proved to be a halftime adjustment by the Muskies that proved detrimental for the Comets who were maintaining a 39-32 halftime advantage. In the fateful second half, the hosts flipped the scoreboard on the heels of 56% shooting and 17 free throws en route to their comeback win.

All-in-all Capital shot the ball well, including a sharp 41% from 3-point land, but the effort was not enough in the end.
