COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University women's lacrosse team (5-2, 0-0 OAC) hosted Allegheny (0-5, 0-0 PAC) on Friday night in a game that gave the Comets a great test in playing under pressure. Cap found themselves down 12-6 at the half but would make quite the comeback in the third quarter, scoring seven straight goals to take the lead. From there, it was a close contest until the end, with CU sneaking away with an 18-15 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Capital started very slow in the first half, being outscored 7-4 in the first quarter and 5-2 in the second.
