WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Capital University women's basketball team (13-5, 8-3 OAC) was on the road at Wilmington (5-12, 3-8 OAC) on Wednesday night, seeking their 10th-straight win. Unfortunately for the Comets, shooting struggles all around led to a lopsided loss on the scoreboard, 54-36 in favor of the hosts.
The Comets found themselves in a hole that they would not quite be able to climb out of after the first half, shooting 7-for-33 (21.2%).
