COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team hosted the high quality Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops on Tuesday night, falling 4-0 in what was a rare off night by the Comets. Prior to this evening, Capital had won four straight games.
Capital slipped back to 6-2 overall on the year and will now turn their attention to OAC play for the remainder of the season, kicking off at Otterbein this Saturday.
The Battling Bishops (6-2-1) scored goals in the 53rd, 60th, 66th and 87th minutes to remove all doubt of the end result.
Jack Kossoudji took two shots, both of which found the frame, while
Colton Daugherty lofted two shots toward the goal, only one of which found the target.
Brendon Dorsett and
Zade Awad were the only others to test the Bishops' goalie.
Ethan Ogden started and played the first 80 minutes in goal, making six saves.
Connor Sexton manned the final 10 minutes between the pipes, making one save.
