TIFFIN, Ohio – The Capital University men's basketball team took to the road again on Wednesday night, the destination this time around was the campus of Heidelberg University. It was not the most pleasant night for the Purple and White as poor shooting overall as well as a turnover difference of negative eight led to a lopsided scoreline. Empty possessions were turned into points on the other end of the floor in the first half, ultimately putting Capital in a hole they couldn't climb out of in the second half. When it was all said and done, Heidelberg had pulled away to a 68-42 final score.
Capital falls back to .500 at 11-11 overall and 7-8 in the OAC.
Heidelberg moves to 15-7 on the season and 10-5 in the conference.
