COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's soccer team (6-3-1, 0-1-1 OAC) had quite a crazy night against Wilmington (1-8-2, 0-2-1 OAC), mounting a huge second half comeback that ended in a 4-4 draw.
The night started slow for the Comets as they found themselves down 2-0 at halftime as a result of Wilmington scoring in the 23rd and 43rd minutes. Capital was able to put their first goal on the board in the 49th minute courtesy of
Zade Awad. Unfortunately the Quakers came back just 25 seconds later to make it 3-1 and added another in the 66th minute to push the game to 4-1.
Cap would overcome the odds and score three goals over the next 20 minutes to pull back even. It started with the Comets earning a penalty kick in the 69th minute which was put away by
Jack Kossoudji. Next – in the 77th minute –
Tony Epstein sent a ball off the post and across the box. Kossoudji was able to get enough of a cleat on it to push it to
Devon Hess who finished it off. Finally, Awad would score his second of the night in the 85th minute to tie the game at 4-4, assisted by Kossoudji.

Kossoudji scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season, as well as collecting his team-leading fifth and sixth assists.
