COLUMBUS, Ohio – Holding senior day at Whetstone Park of Roses this afternoon, the Capital University women's tennis team blew past Muskingum University by a final score of 9-0. 
Prior to the match, Capital honored seniors 
Kelli Wright-Lovell, 
Hayley Singleton, and 
Karen Kanke for their contributions to the program over the years. 
On the court, Capital swept both doubles matches that were contested, winning 8-0 at #1 and 8-2 at #2. The first doubles team was 
Kelli Wright-Lovell and 
Anna Fletcher, while the second pairing was 
Josie Nichols and 
Amy Wright-Lovell. At third doubles, 
Kylee Fliter and 
Abigail Hornacek won by default to complete the sweep of doubles points. 
In singles action, Capital again swept through the points, winning first through fifth singles in competition and sixth singles by a default. First singles was won by 
Kelli Wright-Lovell, 6-0, 6-0. #2 singles went to 
Anna Fletcher 6-1, 6-1. Third singles went to 
Nicole Flock 6-2, 6-0. 
Hayley Singleton won fourth singles 6-1, 6-3. 
Karen Kanke won fifth singles 6-0, 6-1. Fliter again took the sixth singles point by default. 
The Comets are now 4-7 overall and 2-3 in OAC play this season.
