MARIETTA -- Upon arrival to Marietta College for the BSN River City Classic, the Capital University volleyball team learned that their season-opening match vs. Franciscan would not take place due to a late Covid Protocol decision. 

The match was ruled a no contest and will not take place, thus Capital will now begin their season tomorrow with a pair of games on Marietta's campus. Things will get started for the Purple and White at 1 p.m. against Franklin and will finish up at 3 p.m. with a match vs. Washington and Jefferson.
