GAME ONE BOX SCORE
GAME TWO BOX SCORE

On the day, the Capital offense struggled to find seams in the attack as ONU picked up 13 blocks in the two matches. However, in game two, the Crusaders attacked in the positive racking up 35 kills in the match.

In game one, Alissa Holler led the way with six kills while Erin O'Connell added 11 digs in the back row. In the second half of the twinbill, Delanie Nahikian collected a team-high 13 kills offensively and 10 digs and a block defensively. O'Connell once again paced the defense, this time scooping up 12 digs. In the two games, Emily Cooper had 22 total assists while Jenay Kocsis added 16 helpers.

During the second set of the second match, the Crusaders found a way to capture their first set of the season with a 25-23 decision. Capital garnered control of the set early and kept the Polar Bears at bay for the duration of the set. With the score tied at one a piece, a quick four point rally that featured three straight kills from Audrey James proved to be decisive in the set.   In the much needed set win, the Crusaders also benefited greatly at the service line, collecting four aces while profiting off three ONU service errors. Cooper contributed two aces, while O'Connell and Sydney LaPointe added the others.

The built momentum from the set victory wore off quickly as the Polar Bears rattled off two straight set victories to claim the 3-1 final score.

Capital will wrap up their regular season on Tuesday, April 6 with a doubleheader at Wilmington College. First serve of game one is slated for 6 p.m.
