AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Following an undefeated week of play and stellar numbers on the field, Kathryn Walton was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. The honor was announced on Monday, March 8.

Kat Walton (Pickerington, Ohio / Pickerington Central) earned yet another weekly honor to add to her collected after posting 14 points over the span of two games last week. The graduate student scored nine goals and five assists in wins over Marietta College (19-10) and Muskingum University (22-4). Against Muskingum, Walton took four shots, all leading to goals, while tallying three assists, four ground balls, nine draw controls, and two caused turnovers. Against the Pioneers, she posted five tallies and two helpers.

The Crusaders (3-0) now prepare for Heidelberg University to come to Bernlohr Stadium on Wednesday, March 10. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Live stats and video will be made available.
