CAPITAL UNIVERSITY SPECTATOR POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS
All policies meet the guidelines established by the OAC. Capital University and Capital Athletics reserve the right to enforce additional or more detailed protocols beyond that set of the OAC.
Policies go into effect March 8, 2021 and are subject to change.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Â
- Spectators feeling symptomatic or ill, please do not attend.
Â
- Masks or face coverings must be worn properly at all times. Non-compliance will result in removal from the facilities and disqualification for entry to future events.
Â
- The home team shall receive two admissions per dressed student-athlete and coach.
Â
- The visiting team shall receive two admissions per dressed student-athlete and coach based on the established NCAA travel squad limits.
Â
- Cheerleaders may participate at home events only, per institutional discretion, and also receive two admissions per dressed participant.
Â
- These combined admissions may not exceed 30 percent of spectator area capacity.
Â
- Other than the above pass lists, there shall be no spectators allowed at events, including additional family members, fans, staff, and/or students.
Â
- Entry to the contest will be managed by a Capital staff member via a pass list at the gate.
Â
- There will be no admission charged to those attending games.
Â
- Rosters must be submitted by the visiting head coach to the staff of the home team 48 hours in advance of the contest. Names cannot be changed after the roster is submitted. Passes are not transferable during the contest.

- All submitted names must be able to present a valid ID upon entry. Children may be included in the ticket alottment if supervised by a guardian on the pass list with a valid ID.

- Fans are asked to refrain from congregating in groups before, during and after contests. Tailgating will not be permitted for home or visiting fans on event or campus grounds, before, during or after contests.

- Gates will open for all contests 1 ½ hours before listed game time.
Â
FAN INFORMATION
FOOTBALL, LACROSSE, SOCCER
- Spectators must sit in areas designated with an "X" on the stadium bleachers.

- Please respect all directional signage and restrictions to certain areas of facilities.
Â
- Fans may not enter the field of play or sideline areas for any reason, at any time.
- Restrooms will be open on the first floor of The Capital Center, only.
Â
- Access to The Capital Center will be restricted after the start of the second half of all contests.
Â
- Concessions will not be provided at this time. Outside food or drink is not permitted.
Â
- Re-entry is not permitted. (exception: weather emergency)
Â
- WEATHER EMERGENCIES:
- Lightning: Fans and visiting teams will be directed to take shelter in their vehicles. Fans may re-enter once the area is cleared.
- Tornado: Fans will be permitted to enter the building and take shelter in approved emergency areas. Please follow directions delivered by a staff member of the PA announcer.

- All fans must wait until field is cleared (of all players, coaches and staff) to exit. Visiting fans must exit to the left, to field level, proceed through the gate and down the alleyway. Home fans will be asked to exit right through the entrance gates.
- Exception: Those with a physical disability may use the gated entrance to exit the facility.

- Capital teams must wait to ring The Victory Bell until the stands are cleared, and they have showered and dressed.Â
VOLLEYBALL
In addition to the above general policies and protocols ...
- Those attending must present a valid ID. Children do not need an ID, but must be accompanied with a guardian that is on the pass list and has a valid ID. Children are included in the number of tickets awards, not in addition to. Please have your ID ready.
- Please enter the facility through the main Cap Center entrance (East Mound Street side). Use the stairs to your right to access the second floor. Enter the arena through the side door on the left. Please find seating in the bleachers in sports marked with an "X".
- Do not sit in the chair backs or second level bleachers. Please access the first level bleachers for seating. Please leave the first two rows open.
- Fans may not access the arena floor or the first two rows of bleachers at any time.
- Concession stands will not be open. No outside food or drink is permitted.
- Please do not sit with others from outside of the group you enter with.
- Fans are asked to use restroom facilities on the second floor, only. Please exit through the second level through the door to access the second floor of the building.
- Do not congregate in the lobby or on the second floor concourse, at any time.
- Photography by fans is permitted from the stands as along as social distancing guidelines are followed and you remain in your approved seating area. No flash photography.
- Masks or face coverings must be worn properly by ALL spectators, at all times.
- At the end of the game, teams will exit into the Fieldhouse through the gym's south entrance. Fans will be instructed to exit through the main gym doors on the first floor and immediately exit the building.
- Fans are not to enter the playing floor and student-athletes are not to enter the stands at any point for any reason.
BASEBALL / SOFTBALL

- Please sit with your travel party, only, and respect measured off areas.

- At any facility that Capital competes at, the policies and procedures of that facility must be adhered to.
