  • The second half featured a flurry of goals and after just over five minutes of play, Mount Union found themselves up 13-9.
  • The lead would increase to five but Capital remained on the offensive and slowly began to chip away starting with a score from Delara at the 16:23 mark.
  • Stover and Kanowsky scored, closely followed by two goals from Brianna Rampi that shrank the deficit to just one with 10:30 to play.
  • The teams traded goals once again with Capital remaining down just one goal after Delara rifled one past the opposing net minder.
