COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University volleyball team endured a pair of losses on Tuesday night in its doubleheader with Marietta College. Both matches ended in three sets and now lead Cap to a 0-10 overall record.

- Marietta hit at a .400 clip over the course of the match and had a success rate of over 50 percent on the attack in the third set (.519).
- While Capital hit exactly 50 percent on the attack in the third, they averaged a 16.1 percent success rate on the offensive side in the first match. Capital also encountered 12 unforced errors.
- The Crusaders were paced by junior RS Delanie Nahikian, who posted a solid 11-kill performance and hit .450, plus added five digs.
- Maggie Fellers and Becca Phelps both led the Pioneers with 12 kills, each, and hit .706 and .364, respectively. Fellers also added four block assists. Madde Nader dished out a match-high 35 assists.

- Marietta bettered its hit percentages in the second match, upping its attack percentage to .442 on the evening.
- The success was more evenly distributed among the Pioneers with Sam Ritenour leading the team behind 10 kills and a .529 hit percentage.
- Capital struggled on the offensive end, tallying as many kills as it had errors (19).
- The Pioneers hit the nets hard and held a 7-0 advantage on the block in the second match.
- Freshman Lindsay Rich led Cap with six kills, while Reagan Willoughby registered 15 assists. Willoughby ended the evening with 32, total.

Capital will continue its pursuit to enter the win column when they hit the road this Friday, March 26, at the University of Mount Union. Matches will take place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. from inside The MAAC in Alliance.
