UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Capital University women's basketball team traveled to face John Carroll on Saturday afternoon, ultimately being defeated, 55-73.

In the second half, Capital was able to hold steady with the Blue Streaks, however, they were not able to make large cuts into the lead, ending up on the short end of the scoreboard when the final buzzer sounded.
