COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University softball team will have its eyes set on March 20 as the beginning of its conference game schedule. The Ohio Athletic Conference released the conference schedules for all 10 teams for the 2021 season.

The 10-team schedule will open across the league on Saturday, March 20. Capital will begin the OAC slate with a cross-town rivalry matchup with a doubleheader against Otterbein University at Clowson Field. The following week, the Purple and White will hit the road for its first conference away games against the University of Mount Union, in Alliance.

Three of the last four twin bills will be played at its home field beginning with a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 14 against Marietta College. The regular season will wrap up with a home doubleheader against Heidelberg University.

The OAC Tournament will be a two-day event to be held on May 7-8.

Game times will be determined at a later date. At this moment, the status of nonconference scheduling will continue to be evaluated.
