Volleyball Falls in Three Sets at Muskingum

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Capital University Volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to the Muskingum University Muskies on Tuesday night.

Muskingum (14-6, 1-1 OAC) limited Capital to 15 or fewer points in all three sets, leading to their third loss in conference play. Capital's offense committed 26 attack errors over the course of the match. Junior Kristen Bender led Capital with eight kills on 26 attempts.

Three Crusaders finished with 10 or more digs including Kirsten Nickles (11), Rachel Meier (10) and Jessica Winstel (10).

Taylour Fatheree led the Muskies with eight kills on 18 attempts (.444) while also adding two block assists.

Capital (4-18, 0-3 OAC) will play next at Franciscan University on Friday night at 7 p.m.
