Chris Bowles is joining the Capital University baseball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the start of the 2026 season. At Capital, Coach Bowles will work as an assistant pitching coach where he will focus as strength and conditioning coach for the pitchers.Â
Bowles has spent the last four seasons as a pitching coach with the Ontario Blue Jays, Canada's top amateur program. In this role, he was working to help develop athletes to go onto the professional and collegiate level. Bowles also served as assistant strength and conditioning coach at Lourdes University from 2022-23 and he worked as the Northview high school baseball strength and conditioning coach that same year.Â
Bowles spent two years at Clarendon College (NJCCA D1) in Texas before he transferred to Lourdes University (NAIA) and played three years of collegiate baseball. He graduated from Lourdes with a degree in exercise science.Â
