The 2025 season will be Chance Green's first season on staff as the Capital Football Quarterbacks Coach.
Green joined the Capital staff in the summer of 2025 after spending the past three years on staff at Greensboro College. Green was hired at Greensboro as the Quarterbacks Coach, Passing Game Coordinator and Special Teams Coordinator before being promoted to Offensive Coordinator in February 2023. Throughout his tenure at GC, Green has a had in mentoring seven All-Conference players and mentoring his QB to national rankings in multiple categories.
Prior to coaching at Greensboro, Coach Green spent four seasons on staff at Albright College where he was the Running Backs and Slot Receivers Coach. There, he mentored two All-Conference players. In 2019, he added responsibilities as the Head JV Coach as well.
Before coaching at Albright, Green spent a season working as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach at his alma mater, Guilford College. As a student-athlete at Guilford, Green played Tight End after making a transition from Quarterback early in his career. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics which he earned from Guilford in 2015.
