2024 will be Sarah Hanley's first season on the sidelines as assistant coach for Capital women's lacrosse.
A native of Farmington, Michigan, Hanley has spent the past four years as a student-athlete at Ohio Wesleyan University, graduating in May of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She was a four-year member of both the Battling Bishops' women's lacrosse and field hockey teams, earning multiple North Coast Athletic Conference honors and being named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District twice. On the lacrosse side of things, Hanley was garnered IWLCA Great Lakes All-Region First-Team Honors in 2023 as well as being named the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year, earning a First Team All-NCAC selection, and making the All-NCAC Tournament Team. The previous year in 2022, she was named Second Team All- NCAC.
Prior to OWU, Hanley attended Farmington High School where she played four years of lacrosse and three years of field hockey.
