CONCHECK AT CAPITAL
Coach Concheck enters her second season as head coach for the women's lacrosse team in 2026.
In her first year at the helm of the women's lacrosse team, Concheck led the Comets to 10-6 record, including a 5-2 record in OAC play, and an appearance in the OAC Tournament Semifinals. The team would rank nationally in many key statistics, including top three in free position percentage, scoring offense, draw controls per game, shot percentage, and points per game. They would finish sixth in the NCAA in assists per game. Four Comets would earn All-OAC honors, including Grace Osborn who took home the OAC Midfielder of the Year Award. Osborn would also be named preseason Midfielder of the Year and postseason first team All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Joining Osborn was Andi Henry who would be listed as honorable mention preseason All-American. The field is not the only place where the Comets would excel under Concheck, however, with four players each being recognized in the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, CSC Acadmeic All-District, and Academic All-OAC Awards.
In the off-season, Coach Concheck coaches club lacrosse for Impact, where she is currently the head coach for the 2028 Women's Elite Team.
BIOGRAPHY
Concheck joins Capital after previously serving as Head Coach at three Division I programs, at Saint Francis University, Fresno State, and most recently Winthrop University. She has built a reputation for rebuilding programs and elevating teams through recruiting, player and leadership development, while cultivating a culture rooted in family. Across each stop, Concheck consistently transformed program culture and recruited high-impact student-athletes capable of making immediate contributions. In her first season at Winthrop, she led the Eagles to the Big South Conference semifinals in 2022. During her three years in Rock Hill, her teams maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher while she recruited the most highly decorated class in program history, completely rebuilding the roster of over 30 student-athletes in her tenure.
Prior to Winthrop, Concheck spent two seasons at her alma mater, Fresno State University, initially serving as the Offensive and Recruiting Coordinator before being promoted to head coach. She guided the Bulldogs to their first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) championship appearance in 2022, highlighted by a 14–11 upset of San Diego State. That season, she coached the MPSF Rookie of the Year and five all-conference selections. Across both seasons, her teams posted a 3.5+ GPA and earned 24 MPSF All-Academic Team honors.
Concheck began her Division I head coaching career at Saint Francis University from 2016–19, where she became the winningest head coach in program history. During her tenure, she coached eight Northeast Conference all-conference athletes, including NEC Defender of the Year Elyssa Enrique and NEC Midfielder of the Year Autumn McHenry.
She also brings Division III and central Ohio experience, having spent five years as a head coach with Major Force Lacrosse Club in Columbus and serving one season as an assistant coach at Oberlin College.
A 2014 graduate of Fresno State, Concheck was a four-year letterwinner and team captain, finishing her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 73 goals and 85 points. As a senior, she earned All-MPSF honors and was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Adventure Recreation Administration and Environmental Studies and a master’s degree in Strategic and Organizational Leadership. Outside of coaching, Concheck competed in the 2021 NoBull CrossFit Games Quarterfinals, finishing 328th in North America.
