Jill White

Capital All-American and national champion Jill White has returned to Capital to bring her knowledge and experience to the Crusaders coaching staff. The 2020-21 season will be White’s second with the women’s basketball team.

White currently works as a mathematics teacher at Jones Middle School. Prior to that, she worked as a mathematics teacher at Upper Arlington High School (2000-2016) and Westerville North High School (1998-2000). In her off-time from teaching, White spends her time coaching. Most recently, White was the 8th-grade boys’ basketball coach at Jones Middle school. White has coached basketball at the grade school level consistently since 1998.

White is a 1998 graduate of Capital University where she played and co-captained the Crusader's women’s basketball team. At Capital, White earned All-OAC honors, Honorable Mention All-American in 1998 and Academic All-American in 1998. She was a part of the 1995 team that won a national championship and entered the Capital University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008. 

White earned her Bachelor of Arts in secondary education mathematics from Capital in 1998 and completed her master’s degree in the art of teaching at Marygrove College in 2002. 

Jill currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with husband Brian (who is a Capital grad and former football player) and her two children, Griffin (16) and Sydney (14).Â
