Capital University

DaJuan Seward is beginning his first season as an assistant track and field coach at Capital in the spring of 2022. Seward will primarily work with the hurdlers and jumpers. 

A 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University, Seward was a standout student-athlete on the track and through the air. DaJuan was a two-time Big Ten Champion and was a 2018 Outdoor Second-Team All-American in the triple jump. His most notable events were the triple jump and long jump, but he also excelled in the sprint hurdle events. 

His personal best marks include: 

• 60 Meter Hurdles - 7.86 seconds
• 110 Meter Hurdles - 13.64 seconds
• Triple Jump - 16.12 meters
• Long Jump - 7.46 meters

This role at Capital will be Seward's first in the coaching realm. He is originally a native of Ebony, Virginia where he attended Brunswick High School. He holds a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Ohio State.
