DaJuan Seward is beginning his first season as an assistant track and field coach at Capital in the spring of 2022. Seward will primarily work with the hurdlers and jumpers. 

A 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University, Seward was a standout student-athlete on the track and through the air. DaJuan was a two-time Big Ten Champion and was a 2018 Outdoor Second-Team All-American in the triple jump. His most notable events were the triple jump and long jump, but he also excelled in the sprint hurdle events. 

His personal best marks include: 
  • 60 Meter Hurdles - 7.86 seconds
  • 110 Meter Hurdles - 13.64 seconds
  • Triple Jump - 16.12 meters
  • Long Jump - 7.46 meters
This role at Capital will be Seward's first in the coaching realm. He is originally a native of Ebony, Virginia where he attended Brunswick High School. He holds a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Ohio State.Â
