2017-18 (outdoor): Competed in distance events and javelin throw … placed fifth in the 1,500 and javelin throw at the Muskie Invite (April 7-8) with marks of 4:45.92 and 20.66 meters … part of the ninth-place 4x800 relay team at the OAC Outdoor Championships that ran a 9:31.79.
2017-18 (indoor): Competed in distance events … placed eighth in the mile at the OAC South Split Meet (Jan. 19) with a time of 5:14.10 and finished 11th in the 1,000-meter race (3:03.61).
2016-17 (outdoor): Finished seventh in the javelin throw at the Muskingum Invitational All Ohio Multi Championships with a throw of 16.34m, 53-07 ... also competed in the 5000-meter run.
2016-17 (indoor): Placed seventh in the 400-meters with a time of 1:08.58 at the Ron Althoff Classic on January 13 ... ran the mile at the OAC South Split Meet in 5:32.57, good for seventh place.
Personal: Majoring in history ... parents are Tracy and Jeff Hutchins ... attended Maumee High School where he did two years of track and field.
