2015-16 (indoor): Competed in the shot put … won his first two meets of the year at the Capital Challenge (1/8) and Otterbein Invitational (1/16) with throws of 15.42 and 15.30 meters, respectively … his winning throw on Jan. 8 (15.42m) also set a new personal record , surpassing his previous by 1.03 meters and ranking him fourth on the Capital top-10 list … placed second in the third meet of the season on Jan. 23 at the OAC Split Meet with a throw of 14.59 meters … scored points with a fourth-place finish at the OAC Indoor Championships (2/26).

2015-16 (outdoor): Academic All-OAC … competed in the discus throw and shot put … saw significant improvement in the discus with a 5.59-meter increase from his shortest to longest throw … set his personal record in the discus at the OAC Outdoor Championships (4/29) with a 39.07-meter toss … set a new PR in the shot put at the Otterbein Twilight Invitational (4/22) when he threw 15.08 meters and won the competition … scored points in the shot put at the OAC Outdoor Championships with a sixth-place finish behind a throw of 14.82 meters … his outdoor shot put PR of 15.08 meters ranks him sixth on the Capital top-10 list.

2014-15: Threw a personal-best of 14.39 meters in the shot put at the OAC Indoor Conference Championships (2/ 27-28)... recorded a career-best throw in discus of 32.28 meters at the Amy Adams Memorial meet on March 21... earned a season-best finish of second place at the OAC South Split Meet (1/31) with a shot put throw of 13.56 meters.

Personal: Majoring in communication studies ... son of Stephanie Goldsmith ... attended St. Francis DeSales High School, where he was on the football and track teams ... made All-CCL shotput honors ... career ambition is to be a journalist.
