2015-16 (indoor): All-Great Lakes Region (shotput) … All-OAC (shotput) … won the indoor conference championship in the shotput with a toss of 15.74 meters …finished third or better in each of his first three meets to begin his Capital career … won the shot at the OAC Split Meet (1/23) with a 15.27-meter toss … placed inside the top-5 at eight meets and inside the top-10 in all nine indoor meets this season … finished runner-up in two different meets, including his first meet in Purple and White … currently ranks second on the Capital Top-10 list in the shotput with his indoor personal record of16.04 meters.

2015-16 (outdoor): All Great Lakes Region (shotput) … All-OAC (shotput) … qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the shotput … placed 10th at the NCAA National Championship (5/27) after throwing 16.33 meters, missing the final cut … won the shotput twice during the outdoor season, including Muskingum All-Ohio Championships with a 14.83-meter throw and then again the following week at the All-Ohio Division III Championship with a throw of 16.16 meters … finished runner-up in the shotput at the OAC Outdoor Championship behind a throw of 15.69 meters … set a new personal record of 16.55 meters at the All-Great Lakes Elite Meet (5/19) which qualified him for Nationals … also set highs in the discus (35.27m, 4/9) and hammer throw (30.40m, 3/18) … became the first NCAA qualifier for Capital since Emma McCarron (steeplechase) and Emily Sheets (discus) in 2003, and the first male since Josh Woods (long jump) in 2012 to qualify for Nationals … also marks the first male thrower to qualify for Nationals since Bobby Jones tossed the javelin in 2005 … is the first male to qualify in the shot put since Crusaders legend Rick Meindl did so in 1979, and only the second male to qualify in the event in Capital history.
