Junior
In his Capital debut, junior Aralius Walters was the spark for the Crusaders defense, filling up the stat sheet in a big way against Wilmington. In the first quarter, Walters jarred the ball loose from the opposing receiver causing a fumble and recovering it himself. Late in the second, Wilmington was driving and the junior was there once again to scoop up a loose ball on the one yard line and stop the Quakers from scoring. On the other side of the half, Walters stepped in front of a Wilmington pass, intercepting the ball and returning it 35 yards, leading to the second Capital touchdown. For the contest, Walters had 13 tackles, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, an interception and two pass breakups.
